A master’s degree in business administration is one of the most useful collegiate degrees a person can work toward. A recent study conducted by BusinessWeek revealed that Harvard Business School graduates had an average starting salary of $134,000 per year. While the average was lower at less prestigious business schools ($72,000 at Arizona State), the salaries are considerably higher than the national average (about $43,000) and they are only entry-level wages. Careers that can be pursued with a master of business administration include advertising executive, business manager, corporate recruiter, financial analyst, and much more.
